Thorpe Park’s Fright Nights 2020

Fearstival!

We all know 2020 has been an incredibly tough year for everyone, Theme Parks included. We’ve been shooting with Merlin for a few years now but we knew this year was going to be especially challenging with COVID-19 safety measures in place. However, with a smaller film crew and a well organised evening we managed to pull of what we think maybe our best Fright Night promo to date….

All the platforms!

When working with a client like Thorpe Park you need to be flexible with the deliverables, its important for them to operate across multiple social media platforms and putting best practices to use when using those platforms.

For this project we exported the film in the standard 16:9 for YouTube and landscape scenarios, 4:5 for Instagram and Facebook feeds and also 9:16 for Instagram and Facebook stories!
If you take a look at their platforms and come across the videos, you will see that you start to lose some of the visuals but the impact is greater because the film takes up a larger portion of your screen!
