Where is Elevate Studio based?

As of early 2020 our HQ is Southampton, UK.

Do you have Permission from the CAA for Commercial Operations?

We do, we have had our PfCO for over 8 consecutive years. We provide you with our latest PfCO and insurances upon request.

Do you do both aerial and ground video production?

Yes, we can support you with a range of creative services such as video, photography, animation, post production and more. Take a look at our services page for more information.

How far & high can you fly the drones?

We follow the drone code, which allows up normally to fly our drones no more than 400ft (120m) above the surface and we always keep our aircraft in direct sight. It’s important that all drone operators adhere to the Drone Code. It’s paramount to us and our clients that we fly safely and legally.

Can you operate in the rain?

On the ground, yes, in the air, drones are generally not waterproof however there are models out there which we can hire in should we be filming in adverse weather conditions.

What do we need in order to film in London?

For all filming in London it’s often best to submit a filming application form and a short email brief to that borough unless you fall under ‘The Street Filming Guidelines’ (generally less than 5 people involving handheld equipment only).

What equipment do you use?

We have a huge range of equipment for all scenarios, weather that’s flying a drone from a remote rainforest in Peru to attaching mini-cams to high performance vehicles during a championship race, we have the right equipment for your project.

Do you hold all the relevant insurances?

It’s very important to us that our clients understand that we take your safety seriously. Not only do we hold 5m public liability as a standard but we carry out vigorous RAMs on all projects. We are happy to tailor our policies to suit your company policies.
